Tory Burch Summer Sale Haul

First off, the Tory tunic in wedge wood blue. Beautiful colour, standard tailoring; hidden side zipper. The cloth is entirely summer appropriate and thus very sheer. Must wear a cami under.

I need your votes on which size to keep: a fitted 0 or a loose 2. Also, do you think it looks good anyway?

I will update today with the other things I got in my order, but would love your input on the tunic for the mo!

You can judge sheerness by the pale link stripes showing through.  The pattern is a cotton cutout stuck on top of the standard grosgrain wide ribbon used for Tory tunics.

I'm wearing the size 0 here.

Thanks so much for reading!

  1. I think both look good on you, so whatever you decide, you won't go wrong. For this type of top, I usually prefer the bit looser style, especially in a natural fiber. If may have shrinkage for one. But, most importantly for me is that on a warm day, the looser style will allow for air flow and movement. HTH!

    1. Thank you for your comment, Calico&Tweed! I have to think about shrinkage, definitely. It's a tough one. Plus I'm wondering whether to give in to the perpetual lure of shoes and forgo this tunic instead!!!

  2. Size 2 looks better. The size 0 looks taut at the top of the side split hem. Since it's a tunic the flow looks better on the 2.

    1. On second thought, if it's this blue tunic or the striped Revas, then shoes, shoes, shoes!!!!! ;-) the other striped tunic, the Gina, looks special to me. Striped Revas and the striped Gina would be my choice.
